Curriculum Lesson 2-1

Time: 1 hour

In this lesson, please work through Lesson 2-1: Simple Circuits in the curriculum independently. This lesson demonstrates how to create a simple circuit. You need the following materials:

  • Simple Circuit Diagram
  • Cell coin battery
  • Cell coin battery holder
  • Copper tape
  • 2 alligator clips
  • 1 LED
  • Circuit Playground Express (CPX)
  • 1 USB to microUSB cord

Note: The CPX will be used in Module 2’s “Activity 1: The Circuit Playground, but could be replaced with the online simulator.
